Deptt Doda Co-operative Hosts Series of Activities to Mark 68th Indian Co-operative Week

To mark the celebration of the 68th Indian Cooperative Week, Doda Cooperatives Department today organized a series of activities here in the city hall building. The program was chaired by DDC President Dhananter Singh Kotwal, while ADC Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti was the guest of honor. The program was organized under the supervision of Dy Registrar Cooperative Adil Iqbal Lone. ‘expressing on the occasion, the DRCS highlighted the achievements of the Department. A competition-debate was also organized in which students from different schools participated. Several members of cooperative societies also took the floor and highlighted the achievements and services rendered to the general public.

The president of the DDC emphasized the maximum involvement of local unemployed young people in cooperative societies for the creation of local jobs. He insisted on the possibility of reaping the huge potential for job creation and income raising by opening new super bazaars, dairy, poultry and other stores at different levels through cooperative societies. The president also assured to provide full support to cooperative societies to make them fully functional. The program ended with the vote of thanks from the Deputy Clerk. The program was also attended by Dr Sanjay Sen, responsible for the Doda breeding; Shabir Ahmed Malik Tehsildar Doda and other officials of the Department of Cooperatives and members of cooperative societies.
