“(It’s) just sad what liberal culture has done to our literature in this country.”

Doug Patterson wrote:

“What a great campaign. Reading is fundamental to all that is positive in our society. Congratulations to your station.

Our editorial on the City of Detroit’s virtual budget forums, prompted Shelly Chambers say, “Thank you for making these forums accessible. If you don’t participate, don’t complain about the final budget.

Maggie Johnson posted in this comment:

“I wish GM had stayed in their old building. Nostalgia, I guess. I worked there in the 1950s and really loved that building.

Well, with the revival of the old station, who knows what the future holds, Mrs. Johnson.

Our annual Newsmaker of the Year editorial caught the attention of Donna Stewart who wrote:

“I didn’t graduate from MSU or U/M, but as a lifelong Michigander, I cheered on schools and coaches last year. Great season!”

Another viewer said:

“I can’t wait for the big game between the Wolverines and the Spartans this fall. What a rivalry for that ugly Paul Bunyan trophy. MDR!”

Our editorial in support of Black History Month started a little fire. Nicholas Kraft wrote:

“Why haven’t we realized now that this is segregation.”

Shaun AW Wright-Verdun responded:

“Learn about why information like this is important.”

Callen Vaughn seems to agree and adds:

“Oh please, every month is White History Month.”

Whose Jay Will answered:

“Is it really?”

The debate continues. Thanks for writing and watching.
