The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has set the dates and activities for its annual industry celebration.
Cruise Week will take place this year from September 16 to 25. The annual event will see a host of trade-friendly cruise initiatives and updates made available to travel advisors.
“We are very pleased that this year’s Cruise Week is on the horizon and look forward to the series of commercial initiatives that we will put in place. We encourage all agents to stay tuned via social media and our other communication platforms,” Andy Harmer, CLIA’s Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, said in a statement. “There is so much positivity and excitement in the industry, and Cruise Week is perfectly timed to help generate even more interest, engagement and customer demand.”
The organization which serves as the main trade group for the cruise industry said it will give advisers special attention on cruises during the week, so they can benefit from the wider public relations activity. In progress.
The ‘Get Onboard’ theme will also extend to vacationers, with the week showcasing the many reasons people choose to take cruise vacations.
CLIA will be sharing sales tips from cruise line executives to help travel agents looking to increase sales in addition to hosting a number of special Cruise Week webinars. There will also be exclusive offers for cruise passengers and incentives for trade, which will be published in the members area of the CLIA website.
