The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) is set to host the sixth edition of its annual conference and exhibition at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, Nigeria starting tomorrow.
The entire energy community of Sub-Saharan Africa would come together for the 6th SAIPEC in Lagos from February 22-24, to connect, collaborate and create.
This unique three-day gathering of over 6,000 industry professionals creates a platform for unparalleled business opportunities and the ability to interact with over 150 organizations under one roof.
Hosted by PETAN and inaugurated seven years ago to foster collaboration – providing a platform for engagement for all key players in the oil and gas industry in Sub-Saharan Africa – SAIPEC’s goal remains to provide Leverage experiences and ensure regional collaborations between National Oil International (NOC), International Oil Companies (IOC), multinational and local service providers in Africa.
SAIPEC has always prioritized honest debate so the continent can develop and progress by laying out the blueprint NOCs and regulators need to adapt their strategies to CIOs through independent sessions on local content discussions .
Spanning a week, SAIPEC will begin with the Regulators Roundtable followed by three full days of conference and exhibition and conclude with the PETAN Golf Tournament which is now in its second year.
In order to set an agenda for the evolution of the oil, gas and energy industry in Africa, speakers and delegates are expected from over 25 countries.
The program of events for this year’s strategic conference lists speakers and heads of NOCs from Liberia, Uganda, Gambia, Gabon, Somaliland, Mauritania, Namibia, Angola, from Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Ghana and Kenya.
It also features keynote addresses from major Nigerian oil and gas companies, regulatory agencies and visiting high-level delegates.
More than 100 exhibitors will present their industrial solutions and innovative technologies to develop businesses across the entire oil, gas and energy value chain.
The SAIPEC exhibition offers exhibiting companies many fantastic opportunities and great exposure.
Exhibitors such as SNEPCo, Total, H-PTP Energy Services Limited, SAIPEM, Ponticelli, Westfield Energy, Gambia National Petroleum Corporation, Uganda National Oil Company, NCDMB, INP Mozambique and many more, are each expected to showcase their industry leading solutions in the Marlet. and innovative technologies.
Day one programming at the event includes special keynote addresses, corporate presentations from NOCs and regulators and four business, technical and specialist sessions providing insight into the region’s hydrocarbon activities.
The SAIPEC Conference and Exhibition is the largest oil, gas and energy event on the continent and has been organized in accordance with current government COVID-19 security requirements in Nigeria including restricted entry, team testing of the event, disinfection facilities and a reduced number of participants in the venue.
